We begin Day 1 with a 3km trek to the village of Suoi Ho, home to the H’Mong minority people. From here you can enjoy stunning views of rice terraces, and you will have the opportunity to see some of the animals used by the locals. Continuing on to Ma Tra village you will come across the impressive ruins of a monastery dating back to the French occupation in the early 1900s. The next stop is the village of Ta Phin where you will be able to meet both H’mong and Red Dao minorities. Your guide will introduce you to some Red Dao women who can tell you more about their many remedies. You will be welcomed into the home of Chao Thi May and her Red Dao family, where dinner will be cooked on an open fire. You can soak your body in a herbal bath and sleep soundly enjoying the serenity of sleeping out in the mountains.

Day 2: Ta Phin Village – Ta Seng Village – Trung Chai Village (12km trekking - B, L, D) Homestay in Sapa1.

 On Day 2, after breakfast you will begin your trek to Trung Chai Village, with a choice of routes depending on the weather and your preferences. Day 4: Sapa – Suoi Ho - Matra Village - Ta Phin – Lao Cai (B, L, D)
You will be met up at your hotel at 8AM by local guide then start a short walk downhill through beautiful orchid gardens and pine forests. You will then reach a small village of Suoi Ho is inhabited by Hmong ethnic minority.Their house normally built of land has no windows because of the cold in the winter.

Picked up at Lao Cai Station upon your early arrival for over an hour drive uphill in a shared mini van to Sapa. After freshen up and Breakfast in a local restaurant, transfer 6km along the main road to a beautiful spot where your village trek begins.
This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and in a nice day, Fansipan Peak can be seen. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will pay visiting to some H’mong families, watching them doing their daily works. After picnic Lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H’mong and then following the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people, paying visiting to local homes, village schools… you will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. Wake up in the morning, you may feel little bit tired, let go out to the river, breathing fresh air and do some exercises, freshen up and enjoy breakfast, the food get tastier for sure.
Leaving Ta Van Village, your trek goes along Hoang Lien Son mountain range, passing fascinating terraced rice field and some small hamlets of the H’mong before getting through a bamboo forest to a waterfall, enjoy a break for magnificent scenery and then continue walking for half an hour to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao peoples which sits on the top of a hill and looks down Muong Hoa river. After spending time visiting the village, making friend with the Zao and experiencing the hospitality you will cross the river by a suspension bridge and then uphill to visit Su Pan village on the other side of the valley before getting back to the road for transferring back to Sapa, check in hotel and relax.

Day 3: Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai - Overnight train to Hanoi

Breakfast at your hotel and departing for a walk to Cat Cat village locating near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Spectacular scenery of mountains and terraced rice paddies changes after every corner as you walk downhill. Getting through Cat Cat village of the H’mong, you will pay visiting to some local homes, witnessing their daily life activities and experiencing their hospitability. Continue walking down to the valley bottom, having a break at a stunning waterfall where the French built a hydraulic power station. After Lunch you will walk uphill and make a loop around the valley to visit another village of Black H’mong and then back to Sapa in middle afternoon. You will have time to take a shower, wandering around town before transfer by mini bus down hill to Lao Cai station for taking the night train to Hanoi which arrives in Hanoi early at 05.30 to 06.00 next morning.

Explore Sapa and Bac Ha market – 3 days

Bac Ha Market is in Bac Ha District and belong to Lao Cai Province, 80km from Sapa town and over 1 hour by car. Bac Ha is one of the biggest Market on Sapa and open on Sunday only. It’s not only the trading center but it’s also the place for couples, friends and relatives.
First night – Thursday: Ha Noi – Lao Cai
20.00: Our tour assistant picks you up from your hotel to go to Tran Quy Cap station. He will lead you to your cabin on the train.
21.00: Sapa train departs. Overnight on train. Travel time approx 9 hrs.
Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa ( B, L,D)

5.00am: We will pick you up at Lao Cai railway station by bus, to take you to the township of Sapa which takes approx one hour arriving at.

6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. A 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Get back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike.
Day2: Cat Cat & Sin Chai ( B, L,D)

A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a jeep to return to Sapa.
Day 3: Bac Ha market (on Sunday only) ( B, L,D)

Located at 110km from Sapa, Bac Ha mountain town is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam. This every-Sunday-market attended by at least 8 ethnic groups and last from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It is also chance for tourists to discover the H’mong King’s palace (old building built by the French & Chinese).

In the afternoon, we go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho, the village is home to flower H’mong minority. We are invited to enter several local houses to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha for get back to Lao Cai to catch the train or continue up to Sapa (two solutions for travelers).

Our trip starts from Sapa. You cycle downhill on a windy road, which goes along Muong Hoa valley. The valley is home to Black Hmong, Giay and Red Dao minorities. From the road you will have many opportunities to enjoy amazing scenery of mountains and rice paddy terraces as far as the eyes can see. After a short break in Su Pan, you will cycle downhill until you reach Thanh Phu village of Tay minority. Here you stop for lunch in a traditional Tay house.
After lunch, your ride will be mostly uphill; you head toward Sin Chai village of Red Dao minority.  Where you will stay overnight in in a local house in the village. Approx: 6 hours cycling/ 1-hour lunch.

Day 2: Sin Chai B – Nam Nhiu - My Son – Ban Ho – Sapa (B, L, D)
Today’s ride will be a little softer. You will pass by some tinny villages. You can stop by a local school and give children some small gifts such as pens or books. You will also be able to meet Xa Pho minority, one of the smallest ethnic group, which cannot be found in other areas. You will pass by Thanh Phu and continue to Ban Ho.
In Ban Ho you will enjoy lunch in a local house. After lunch, you will take a short walk to the nearby river, where you will be able to have a swim. You can take a break and have a cup of tea in a Tay house before you get on a car for a journey back to Sapa.
Then, you will be transfered to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi.
Approx: 1.5-hour driving/ 1 hour walking/ 3 hours cycling/ 1 hour lunch.

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

Pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to Hanoi station for night train to Lao Cai.
Overnight on the train.

Day 01: Lao Cai - Sapa, Fansipan peak conquering (B,L, D)
After enjoying breakfast , 8h30 the bus will take you to Tram Ton which belongs to Hoang Lien Son natural reservation center at the height of 1,800m above sea level. You will follow the forest path with small bamboo trees along to start your conquering over Fansipan peak. Stop for a picnic lunch then continue your trip.
17h00: You stop for camping, firing and stay overnight in small tents at the height of 2,800m.

Day 02: Fansipan (B, L,D)
6h30 am: After breakfast, we will continue our trip to conquer Fansipan peak (3143m).
10h30: You will reach the top of Fansipan peak, taking photographs and celebrating your victory. After that, you will come back to the height of 2,800m for lunch.
13h00: You will follow the bamboo path to come back to Sapa.
At 16h30, the bus will take you back to Tram Ton keep forward to Sapa for a bath in the hotel.
18h00, you will be taken by bus to Lao Cai station. Have dinner in Lao Cai. Then you get on the train.

Day 3: Hanoi
Arrive Hanoi at 05.00am. End of tour.

Hoang Lien National Park Half Day Walking Tour

Half day walks through beautiful landscape and great views over rice terraced fields; Meet Hmong people and experience their local life.

You will be met up at your hotel in Sapa at around 9AM then leave Sapa market town. We will go downhill to Cat Cat village. Enjoy beautiful landscape and scenery along the road. Upon reaching a waterfall and a hydroelectric station, we will take a short rest before continuing our trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraced fields. The area is still covered by rain forest under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. We will arrive in Y Linh Ho village inhabited by Black Hmong people where we will have one more rest before climbing toward the main road. Our vehicle will pick us up there and drive us back to Lao Cai station for overnight on train.

Sapa Mountain Trails Trek

Day 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
08:00: We will be met at the lobby of the hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Hanoi Railways station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on train

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Waterfalls – Tram Ton Pass – Ban Khoan Village – Ta Phin Village (15km trekking, 5 – 5,5 hour trekking)
Accommodation: home stay
Up on arrival in Lao Cai Railway station early in the morning, we will be met up and transfer to Sapa. Breakfast at hotel in Sapa. Relax little bit then. Our
journey will depart with a car riding along a road
get to Ban Khoan. After that, you descend on foot
through a valley and cross a river.
Heading and climbing to village of Ban Khoan of Red Dao minority. You ger great opportunities to discover the traditional life and daily activities of local people there. After lunch, our trek will be taken through the corn-farm and the rainy forests in order to get to Ta Phin village of Red Dzao and Black Hmong tribe. There is more chance for you to get to know more about local hill-tribes as visit their home, communicate with them, experience some of their daily activities. Tonight, you stay overnight at the
local house (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included)

 Day 3 : Ta Phin village – Ta Seng Village – Mong Sen Village – Sapa (13km trekking, 4 – 5 hour trekking)

After having breakfast in Taphin village, we follow untouched trails through Red Dzao of Taxeng and Mongseng villages which is about 10km from Taphin. You will have picnic lunch next to beautiful stream in the jungle. And then we keep walking along the beautiful landscape of the mountain . We will reach Tacko at noon where we meet the car for transfer for
to Sapa . You will be free in the rest of afternoon to
discover the beautiful town in your own.
You stay overnight at Sapa hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included)
Day 4: Sapa – Hau Thao – Sau Chua villages – Lao Cai – Hanoi (12km trekking, 4-4,5 hour trekking)
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive about 30 minutes
to cross Sapa town and then we walk about 2 hours to
visit Hau Thao and Sao Chua villages which are the
home to Red Dzao and Hmong people. Difference from
other Hmong villages, these villages
are not ruined by tourist, everything seems to be
preserve here. Meeting driver at the end of the
village and we are transferred to Sapa for showering and dinner and then you are transferred to Lao Cai to catch the night train to Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included).
 Day 5: Hanoi Arrival
Upon your arrival, you are picked up and transferred to your hotel. Ends the tour.
